Tea Coasters

This is very much a self-initiated project which I started not long ago and these are just the initial iterations. These are tea coasters which I designed myself and gave as a Christmas present to my mum. The designs are inspired from my Bulgarian heritage and are showing something that is known as ‘shevica’. The different ‘shevica’ have different meanings and bring various fortunes with them. I did the design on Illustrator and then used MDF sheet to laser cut. In the future I am planning on doing different sets of tableware and refining the designs.
