The Sarasota Modern Hotel is a new boutique resort in the Rosemary District that features 89 rooms designed in the mid-century Florida modernism style. The architecture incorporates natural elements and draws guests out into the landscape with the amenity pool deck at the heart of the project, surrounded by guest rooms and the restaurant and bar. The landscape architect designed verdant spaces integral to the overall resort context with cabanas, pingpong tables, juice bars, and a yoga garden, seamlessly connected through water and landscape elements. The hotel is designed to challenge conventional hospitality settings, with the intention of promoting internal and external discovery for guests and families to enjoy.

Epoch is an 18-story residential tower with midcentury modern design. DWY was tasked to create an inspired groundlevel entry experience, a third-floor amenity deck with a lap pool, spa, cabanas, pergola with bar and seating, built-in lounge seating, chaise lounge seating, sectional seating with fire tables. Additionally, DWY designed several penthouse terrace spaces with spas, putting greens, and lounge spaces with fire tables. Lastly, they also designed a community rooftop terrace with bar and lounge seating.

Bayshore Wine

Bayshore Wine and The Maddox Naples is a unique project centered around the idea of enjoying wine in cultivated spaces. The venue features a traditional wine charcuterie bar, private tasting rooms and club, wine storage and cigar patio. The glass building opens up to garden spaces for members to enjoy their favorite aperitif. DWY was commissioned to design the site, entry water feature and surrounding gardens - each with a fire table and water feature. Inspired by the Florida Everglades, the spaces and experience allows visitors to experience a slice of the Everglades beauty which is just a few miles east of town.
