Terms of Sale All cattle sell per the terms and conditions of their respected Registered Breed Standards. Bred cattle sell guaranteed as bred as stated in the sale book and/or on the supplement sheet for 21 days following the sale. If cattle are found open within 21 days of the sale please call Nick Dwyer ASAP for an adjustment to be made.

Terms of sale are cash, good check with proper ID, and/or Visa/ Mastercard with a 3% service fee applied on top of the purchase price. All announcements made from the auction block or printed on the supplement sheet sale weekend will take precedence over statements made in this catalog. If any issues arise with your purchases call Nick for adjustments. No load out will occur without payment being received.

Registration Papers Please leave all transfer requests with the sale clerks at the time of check out. Papers will begin being transferred 2 weeks after the sale and can be expected in hand within a month of sale day.

Cattle will not be transferred or loaded until payment is received in full. All cattle sold as registered will be accompanied by a registration certificate, if cattle are sold as Club Calves or listed as unregistered/commercial no papers will be made. All donors with embryos/pregnancies selling have been DNA parent verified. If you do not receive your papers within one month of the sale contact Nick Dwyer to make sure your paperwork is in order.

Sight Unseen Buyer Guarantee If you would like to make a purchase but cannot make it to look at the cattle prior to the sale please contact any member of the sales staff for an honest opinion of the cattle/genetics being offered. We stand behind our word and the word of those hired to represent this offering. However we cannot guarantee cattle/genetics purchased sight unseen online. Herd Health All cattle sold will carry health papers for interstate travel anywhere in the Continental US. Canadian purchases will require extra paperwork and testing that work can be done but will require extra time and my incur an additional cost to the buyer. Due to this and our commitment to offer our very best we will reserve the right to one flush of a minimum of 8 transferable embryos on every open heifer being offered. The Steinbronn family purchased two Crystal Gayle pregnancies and both of them laid down to produce baldy heifers. The 210K female is by the great Hartman Cattle sire SO Remedy who is making a splash in the Simmental breed right now producing calving ease cattle with all the look and presence you could ask for. I love the way this female ties high out of the point of her shoulder and moves around the pen with extreme fluidity at every angle. Here is a female with the added hair, bold rib design, and flat muscle design. If you’re looking to compete at the highest of levels this is truly a female to latch onto. Then when you sit back and study her parentage this particular female is one who should rise towards the top of the donor pen checking all the boxes when it comes to EPD profile as well as power cows lining both sides of her pedigree.

ET Open Heifer One of the youngest heifers on the farm and one I would normally save back for a later sale but when you sit back and analyze this heifer it is so hard to poke a whole into her design. This female reminds me quite a bit of the heifer Roberts selected last year with this one being simply better haired. As you study 209K you’ll quickly latch onto her big feet and legs that lay the foundation for a female who is as structurally correct as you can make one. Square off all four wheels and dead level out of the point her hip. This female comes with a thicker skull which should lend her well as she continues to add mass with maturity. Be sure to take some extra time sale weekend to study this female as she is easy to overlook compared to her older contemporaries.

Welcome to the Offering...

I’d like to thank each of you for taking the time to look over the offering for the second installment of The Next Generation Foundation Female Sale. I was absolutely blown away by the support and attendance during last year’s sale and I look forward to welcoming each of you back this season. Last year’s crop of calves set records for this sale in terms of show ring success and much of that is attributed to the families who took their projects home and put in the work to showcase their purchases in the best possible light.

Over the course of the last few years I’ve noticed a shift in Simmental breed, this shift has been exciting and has given smaller breeders like most of us involved in producing cattle for this sale an added advantage. That shift is the ease with which to tie into genetics by the top cow families in the breed. The leaps and bounds the Simmental breed has made in terms of the use of IVF technology has propelled the quality within this breed by decades in just the course of a couple years. As you look through this catalog you’ll see the influence of some of the top donors in the entire breed being offered by breeders you may or may not of heard of.

In my opinion this change will result in a higher and higher level of quality across the country as well as some exciting matings that may not of been thought up by the current breeders who own the top donors. Thinking of the possibilities that can result from this gets me excited about the Registered business for years to come.

It’s said every year but I truly feel this is one of the deepest sets ever assembled for the Foundation Female Sale.

Regardless of your type and kind I feel we have cattle that will suit your needs. I’m very fortunate to be able to travel the country and view cattle from all types of operations with varied goals and feed types. AI Open Heifer This one is a little different build for the normal show ring Angus but one that fits my type and kind. 215K is a high growth female who comes with a tremendous amount of foot and bone underneath. Really appreciate this ones clean chest, added length through her front end, and thick skull design.

Where this one separates from the competition is when you get behind her on the move. She stands with good base width and doesn’t hock in from behind. Highly competitive Angus female with a great disposition here!
