Sale time is fast approaching for this year’s The Genetic Options Live Event and we look forward to welcoming each of you to this year’s Live Event at Volk Livestock. We feel the set assembled by this group is the type and kind to suit a wide variety of cattlemen and yet are still grounded in the fundamentals we strive for as a breeders group. When you get a chance to see these bulls in person I’m sure you will note the foot quality, easy fleshing design, and added frame. Then when you study the pedigrees you’ll quickly notice the strong presence of highly maternal sires and powerful cows backing their lineage.

We are currently witnessing some exciting times in the Simmental industry as well as the Beef Industry as a whole. As I sit down to write this sale letter I’m not sure there has ever been a better time to invest into the Simmental Industry. These cattle are widely accepted across all segements from the cow/calf, feed yards, to breeders all of which are searching for bulls with that added frame as well as to improve feet and legs in the industry.

Within the female side of the offering you’ll have the opportunity to tie into an exciting group of fall bred females as well as an extra fancy set of open heifers. The female division is stacked this year, not only from a phenotype perspective but also by the depth of breeding behind the females being offered. These females are the type and kind to excel in the pasture and yet still have the look and extras needed to demand premium level prices out of their offspring for those looking to produce highly sought after show heifers.

We look forward to getting a chance to talk the cattle with each of you as sale time approaches and if you have any questions regarding to anything about this offering please feel free to reach out to any of the breeders involved in this Event.

Thank you for your consideration,

Volk Livestock
