Come back to the auction lady and gents. Here she is the redhead baldy edition. Full sib the high selling red heifer that we had in last year’s sale that seems to have been a crowd favorite. But in the dark cherry baldy version!! Make sure you look her up in a few weeks for the picture and video with the rest of the open females. I absolutely love these Bet On Red females. They are great for the show ring but even better as momma cows. With him being deceased makes selling this one even harder for us but here she is up for grabs.

I know it’s a timeless quote for footnotes but I’m not sure why I’m selling this one. we literally can’t make anyone of this breeding. Her sire was ET bull calf out of Countertime/Lady A 9905. He has since deceased and his first calf crop is an absolute banger! Nina in my opinion puts a lot of things together in the right places to not only make a great show heifer but one i truly think you can build a herd on. Her dam is doing a phenomenal job producing awesome females. This is the 2nd heifer that we have had in the hawkeye sale from her 3rd calf crop. Study the pedigree on her and buy with the utmost confidence!

These Turnpike daughters are built for the long haul. We have kept almost every daughter that we have gotten out of this bull. They are just flat, good cattle, awesome mommas with great milking ability. She has a notch bigger frame then our other heifers but I wouldn’t count that against her. She has the build, length of body, nice profile through the front 1/3 you could breed her in so many ways and not go wrong.

Here’s a really nice Bold Move daughter that is elegant in her design. She moves out freely and when you get her on the move she’s got that barrel rib shape about her, slick front ended, and yet she doesn’t give up any bone mass to her structure that seems to be common when you start talking about the super feminine design females. Backed by a really nice Bar QH Logic cow.

TGL Miss Nova N530

15

Nova could very well be the sleeper in the sale. This heifer is really starting to come together, the type of heifer that I’m proud to stand behind all day long, pedigree alone she’s a “diamond in the ruff”. I think Shell Shock could be one of the most underrated simmental bulls out there. We have had great success using him and Nova isn’t any different. Her dam if you follow the simmy breed at all tells you she is a full sister in blood to the great Sandeen 8302 which doesn’t need any introduction on what she has done in her short career. We sold a heifer in the Beef Expo a couple years back that is very similar in breeding, type and kind to Nova that went to Illinois and is doing a great job over there for her new owners.

Heifer

This fall born heifer needs little introduction. We had an opportunity to purchase the dam of this heifer from Sullivans back in 2023 as a high seller in their fall born sale. I had always wanted to own a daughter out of JBSF Proud Mary 317C as it gives you access to one of the premier bloodlines in the breed. Like many in this long lineage, she’s very functional, possesses plenty of eye appeal and just the down right good-doing type. As an added bonus, her mother also has one of the best udders on the farm. If you are looking for a baldy that will hold her own in the show ring and is the right type and kind for the front pasture, pay a little extra attention to this one on sale day.

Jarr Cattle

Open Heifer - Can Register as Mainetainer as well

Look in at this Dual Registered critter. 500N is huge footed, great haired, and backed by one of the premier cow families in the Simmental Herdbook the famed “41D”. 41D has already produced in excess of $1 million during her production career and her daughters are showing promise to eclipse their prolific dam. Her dam, 200K, was a dominate show heifer for Gentle family of Illinois and judging by the build and athleticism I’d say 500N has all the pieces needed to write her own history this show season.

Dwyer Cattle

Hawkeye Donor Cow

608D has been a staple around our place since the day she arrived. We bought her as a bred heifer out of the Werning program. That first Spring we started flushing her and have continued to flush her since. She has averaged 10 embryos per flush over her career for us with the last flush producing 25 number one embryos. She has always had a higher than industry standard conception rate, a couple years ago she had a flush that 8 of 9 embryos stuck. Of all the progeny we have got out of her I do not ever remember taking one to the sale barn, they have been either sold in a production sale or retained in the herd. Several of her progeny have sold right here in past Hawkeye sales and have been the top selling lot.

We have several of her daughters retained in the herd and it is time to allow someone else the chance to work with this cow. She has just had a Reckoning 711F heifer calf born on 10/02/25 that is by her side. Look at her picture, watch her video, and make a point of seeing this girl in person as she is in excellent condition and has a lot of

left in her. With the cattle market being what it is this seems like a lucrative business opportunity with a heifer calf by her side.

Like the industry in general, our herd size has dropped some over the last few years, so we have made the decision to retain the bulk of our bred heifers this year. With that in mind we are going to offer just one bred heifer this year in the Hawkeye Sale. If we are going to sell one it is going to be a good one, and Jarr’s Miss Style 915M fills that bill. Her Grand dam was a past Overall Supreme Breeding Heifer at the American Royal. Her dam produced a full sib that was the high selling lot in last years Hawkeye Sale. Lollipop 27L is a maternal sister to “Holy Moly” He is a bull we sold in OKC and went on to win 3 Supreme titles in the Southeast. Also she is another great example of Night Shift’s mark he has made on our program. He is a bull we purchased with Sugar Creek Farms after we saw all the great heifers he was producing. Additionally, he was a division champion at Louisville. Like most of his progeny she is sound, big ribbed and good footed.
