The terms of payment are cash or good check (with proper ID, i.e. drivers license) as well as Visa or Mastercard made payable to the Sale Clerks. If you choose to use a credit card you will incur a 3% service charge which will be applied to the total sale cost (thus a $1000 heifer will cost you $1030).

No cattle will be loaded until approved by the Sale Clerks.

Liability Anyone attending the sale attends at their own risk. Sale Management, Select Showcase Simmental Consignors, Kirkwood Community College Representatives, and the sale personnel will not be held responsible for injury or loss for those attending the sale. Assistance will be given in loading and shipping cattle, but no risk is assumed by any party associated with the sale.

The Select Showcase Simmental Sale group, as well as Dwyer Cattle Services, would first of all like to extend a personal invitation to each of you to attend the Select Showcase Simmental Sale to be held September 21, 2013 at 1:00 pm. We will yet again be hosting this sale at the Tippie Beef Center located on the campus of Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA.

It is simply amazing how much things can change in just one year. Last year many of us were facing a drought conditions and tight feed supplies, and now this year the hay piles are filling up and so will the grain bins in the upcoming months. It seems the only thing that has remained the same is the demand for the cattle industry in this country. Currently we are still facing a shortage of beef cattle in this country, and there is no better way to build those numbers than to purchase elite seedstock. The cattle represented in this offering are just that. Over the years this sale has produced Champions at the County, State, & National levels and most importantly those females have gone on to produce the next generation of Champion for their new owners.

The members of this sale group have strived over the years to bring cutting edge genetics to the sale ring each and every year. All of the calves sold will be halter broke and ready for show, and as always will be sold in an open and honest manner.
