Wur-Com+ Power and Transmission Requirements

Power Requirements:

Wur-Com+ System:

1. System Power:

• One (1) 110 VAC outlet within proximity of the elevator controller

2. Elevator Car to Machine Room Transmission:

• Two (2) Twisted Shield Pair Travel Cable wire from elevator Car to Controller

• Pair #1: Wur-Com+ data transmission and unit power to elevator cab via PoE

• Pair #2: Wur-Com+ data communication verification/failure notification.

3. System Transmission:

• A network or cellular connection to the elevator machine.

• Transmission path must have stand-by power for a minimum of four (4) hours in the event of a power outage.

Wur-Com+ Lobby Station or Machine Room Communication (if required)

• 110 VAC power at location of unit

• Ethernet connection at location of unit

• Four (4) hour stand by power integral to unit.

Transmission Requirements:

Ethernet:

• Recommended Speed: >100Mbps

• Back-up Power: UPS (minimum of 4 Hours) or Emergency Power Generator

• Network Port: Dynamic IP (system may be set-up with static IP Address requiring additional system configuration and set-up

• System MAC address provided at registration startup and in system/unit documentation

Cellular Network Requirements:

• Minimum Signal Strength: > 67 dBm (A consistently strong signal is required for the system to properly operate. Antenna may require adjustment or relocation to achieve signal)
