Kevin Shields (The Club at Nevillewood) secures 2nd Alternate for the PGA Corebridge Financial Team, shooting a 2-under par 70 in the final round.
The 2025 Senior PGA Professional Championship, supported by Golf Channel and PXG, is carded at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
The low 35 scorers from the Senior PGA Professional Championship earn starts in the 2026 Senior PGA Championship, to be held April 16-19 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida.
Congratulations to Kevin and to all of our TSPGA professionals (John Aber, Ty Roush, Eddie Perrino, and Brett Carman) for a great weekend of representation, professionalism, and competitive spirit.

It was another great year and great run by The Hot Shots, representing Pennsylvania, Hot Shot Golf Academy, and the Tri-State Section.
Although they did not win the 17u PGAJL Championship, they are committed to growing and developing as both players and individuals.

On Monday, October 27, the Tri-State Section of the PGA of America held its annual fall membership meeting at the Hollywood Casino at the Meadows in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The agenda for the meeting included a recap of the tournament golf season, discussions of new business, and the presentation of plaques to the 2025 award winners. These winners included the TSPGA Special Awards, Players of the Year, Hall of Fame inductee Hill Herrick from the Greenbrier Resort, retiring rules official Larry Piroli, and outgoing board members Devin Gee, Mike Frisina, and Andrew Hefferenan. Election results were also announced for three incoming board members: Chris McKnight, Rich Conwell, and Joe Klinchock, who were sworn in by Honorary President John Klinchock. The section welcomes these men to the board. It looks forward to working together to continue strengthening and adding new ideas and initiatives to the Tri-State PGA section.

The PGA of America REACH Foundation has announced the launch of the 2025 HOPE 4 Heroes national fundraising campaign to support the participation of Veterans and active-duty military in PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere).
The campaign is open and runs through December 31, 2025.
As the year comes to a close, we proudly honor the mission of PGA HOPE with our annual HOPE 4 Heroes Campaign. This celebration highlights the impact of our programs and the communities they support. In 2025,
PGA HOPE will have served over 15,000 Veterans, yet our work continues to ensure that Veterans and Active-Duty Service Members can participate in PGA HOPE at no cost. Now through the end of the year, join us in our mission so PGA HOPE can touch the lives of more Heroes everywhere.

Exclusively for eligible PGA of America Professionals, this special indoor golf event kicks off Season 4 of the NEXT Golf Tour, which was created by Trackman to give elite players worldwide a place to earn income and build their brands as professional golfers.
Eligibility is limited to PGA of America Members and Associates meeting the following classifications and criteria. Contestants must be eligibly employed and classified in one of the following active membership classifications (in good standing) at the time of entry.
