On March 3rd, the Tri-State Section held its 102nd Annual Spring Meeting at the Hollywood Casino at the Meadows. TSPGA President Dan Braun presided over his first annual meeting with TSPGA Executive Director/CEO David Wright. They presented the schedule for the new season and shared some exciting initiatives.
New PGA of America Secretary Eric Eshleman joined us and delivered an informative town hall presentation. We were fortunate to have Eric with us this year, and we thank him for his valuable contributions. He received a warm welcome from everyone in attendance.
We would also like to thank Dave Gedris for the National Anthem, John Brautigam for the invocation, and our special guests, Tim Fries, Kim Shafer, and Garrett Korte. Presenters included Pete Micklewright (Mentorship), Dean DiBerardino, PGA (Mizuno), and Mike LaBella (Flowcode).
Keynote Speaker Steve Wheatcroft shared his heartfelt true story of life on the tour and how it changed his life forever. He has since found health, wellness, and purpose through his company, The Mulligan Foundation. We were honored to have Steve back in Pittsburgh among friends, and we thank him for sharing his time and story.
Finally, we thank all our members and associates who participated in the meeting for their support and positive feedback. A special thanks go to our host facility, the Hollywood Casino at the Meadows, as well as our spring meeting partners: PRG (Kevin DePaulis), who provided attendees with branded PGA of America
