Congratulations to section professional Kevin Shields, who has qualified for the 45th U.S. Senior Open Championship. Kevin qualified at Deal Golf & Country Club in Deal, New Jersey, on June 10th, 2025.
Kevin will compete on The Broadmoor (East Course) in Colorado Springs, CO., on June 26-29, 2025.

Ron Gionta, Colonel (Retired) USAF and our PGA HOPE Ambassador, recently visited TSPGA Headquarters to donate golf clubs he cleaned and repaired for veterans participating in the PGA HOPE Tri-State golf programs.

PGA HOPE Tri-State wrapped up one of its many veterans golf programs at Valley Brook Country Club. Congratulations and thank you to our veterans and certified PGA professionals. The section was recently featured on "Life on Par" by RE/MAX Select Realty. The Episode aired on Saturday, June 14th, on WPXI-TV Pittsburgh. It showcased Edgewood Country Club and included Head PGA Golf Professional Pete Micklewright, Tri-State PGA Executive Director/CEO David Wright, and PGA HOPE
Ambassador Ron Gionta as he threw out the first pitch at the Pirates game.
The weekly limited series, which focuses on golf, communities, and lifestyle, is hosted by Jimmy Hanlin and Caroline Collins, the daughter of TSPGA Hall of Famer and former President Bob Collins.
