CUSTOM TYPEFACE OVERVIEW

For this assignment the task was to create a custom display typeface. Shown on the next page is the typeface I created titled “ShuttleSerif.” My goal starting out was to create a retro futuristic typeface. This might be a typeface that you would see on something like a ray bradbury book, or any older Si-Fi media. After creating our type, we made four websliders to advertise our work online.

Web Sliders

The point of these web sliders is to show off the typeface in an aesthetic environment in which it might be used in. They are essentially promo pieces. For my four web sliders, I tried to include retro elements along with space themes.
