Igniting the Spark of Genius in Every Child

WELCOME TO THE MARCH EDITION OF DWIGHT DISPATCH.

Across our campus, students continue to develop their Spark of Genius through meaningful learning, creativity, and global opportunities. In this edition, we share highlights from across our community and look ahead to several exciting events at Dwight School Hanoi.

SUMMER AT DWIGHT

Following the success of last year ’ s Summer at Dwight, the program returns with four weeks of creative exploration, personal growth, and academic enrichment. Led by Dwight teachers and set on our awardwinning campus, the program offers students the chance to explore STEM, arts, sports, and global learning through handson experiences designed to ignite curiosity and build confidence.

CIS ACCREDITATION VISIT

As a new school, Dwight School Hanoi is progressing through a number of important accreditation processes We have already successfully completed authorization for the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP), and we are now continuing our accreditation journey with the Council of International Schools (CIS). As part of this process, Dwight School Hanoi recently welcomed Shane Kells, CIS International Accreditation Advisor, for an important three-day campus visit.

During his time at the school, he met with members of our community, including students, teachers, parents, and leadership, to learn more about our programs and school culture

It was a very positive visit, and we were pleased that he left with a strong impression of the learning culture and community at Dwight School Hanoi. We look forward to continuing to share the many exciting developments at Dwight School Hanoi as we move ahead with the final stages of CIS accreditation.

DWIGHT DESTINATIONSMANCHESTER CITY 2026

Dwight School Hanoi students recently returned from an unforgettable Dwight Destinations trip to Manchester, where they trained at the Etihad Campus with professional coaches from Manchester City Football School. Throughout the week, students trained on the same grounds used by the club’ s elite players, developing 1v1 attacking, 2v2 play, intelligent movement, and finishing techniques inspired by Manchester City’ s “beautiful football” philosophy. They also toured the first-team facilities, including the changing rooms, and walked to the senior training pitch where the first team would train later that day.

Beyond the training ground, students explored the wider world of professional sport. At the Manchester Institute of Health and Performance, they completed the same performance tests used for academy and professional players, including the 20-metre sprint, vertical jump, and bleep test. The trip also included visits to the Manchester City media center, the National Football Museum, and the Museum of Science and Industry, as well as an unforgettable finale, pitch-side seats for Manchester City vs Nottingham Forest.

DWIGHT DESTINATIONS - VIETNAM GLOBAL POLITICS & HISTORY 2026

Coming up next in Dwight Destinations, Dwight School Hanoi will host a group of 20 students from Dwight School New York as part of the Vietnam Global Politics & History Trip. This shared experience is another example of the strength of the Dwight global network, bringing students together for learning that extends beyond the classroom and connects history, culture, and global perspectives in meaningful ways.
