Dear Angus & Simmental Enthusiasts, On behalf of the Ohio Angus & Ohio Simmental Associations and their Boards of Directors, it’s with great pleasure that we welcome you to the third annual Buckeye “Best of Both Worlds” Sale. The idea to hold a joint fall sale among both breed associations came from the growing popularity of the SimAngus cross and the many economical advantages it and both breeds respectively have to offer to the beef industry. By holding a joint sale it allows our buyers which are drawn to both breeds to have the opportunity to attend just one sale and select from the top Angus, Simmental and % Simmental genetics from Ohio and surrounding states. The previous two sales were huge successes, with an outpouring of catalog requests, a standing room only crowd and cattle selling to buyers from Ohio and several surrounding states. As you review this offering you will see that the consignors are excited about this sales long-term potential. They have dug deep into their operations and are offering some of their very best genetics to you. The sale offering includes: open heifers, bred heifers, bred cows and spring cow/calf pairs from many of the breeds top cow families and representing most of the eilte A.I. sires each breed has to offer. We hope you will take the time to join us on Saturday, November 22, 2014 to evaluate this elite offering and celebrate Volume III of this unique sale.
