As you evaluate this years offering, you will notice that the consignors having dug deep; consigning some of their very best genetics from the hearts of their programs. With the number of show winners consigned and the proven performance & profitability of the dams and sires represented, this promises to be an excellent sale that will surely please, from the commercial cattleman to purebred Angus breeders and Jr. showmen. Whether you are looking for a proven bull, a young bull for a small herd, a show heifer, or a replacement female, this sale has what you need - with excellent EPD’s and pedigrees throughout. Make plans to be in Columbus on Friday at 10:00 a.m. for a Parade of the Entries in Rauch Arena South Ring. The sale will begin at 12:00 Noon on Saturday. Following the Parade of Entries on Friday, the Ohio Angus Association invites you to join us for a Membership Social at Angus stalls in the O’Neill Building. Port Columbus International Airport has excellent commercial air services by all major airlines. Planes will be met upon request.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions as recommended by the American Angus Association. A copy of these terms is available at the sale. Cash or check only on day of sale. We are unable to accept credit cards.
ABSENTEE BIDS:
Buyers unable to attend the sale may send their bids to the Sale Manager, Auctioneer or Sale Representatives.
HEALTH OF CATTLE:
All cattle will be accompanied with proper health papers for Interstate shipment. All cattle will be negative for BVD. All bulls will have past Breeding Soundness Exams. Copy of Beef Expo health requirements available upon request
TRUCKING:
Cattle are to be picked up from O’Neill building at conclusion of sale and no later than 5:00 p.m. Please contact sale manager if you need assistance with trucking.
VETERINARIAN:
Office will also be in the O’Neill Building meeting room.

The buyer registration/clerking tables for ALL BREEDS will be in the meeting room in the O’Neill building, adjacent to the breeds office. There will be no clerking tables in Voinovich near sale rings.
PARKING:
Saturday, March 16th only, special trailer parking for Ohio Beef Expo sale buyers will be available on the main part of the fairgrounds just east of the O’Neill Barn where the sale cattle are located. To access the parking area, cattle trailers should enter the fairgrounds off of 11th Avenue at the OHIO gate. This special trailer parking area is expected to fill up, so plan to arrive early. All other cattle trailers, including show and sale cattle exhibitor trailers and junior show trailers MUST park north of 17th Avenue after unloading. New Criteria Requirements for Angus Bulls
In a continual effort to improve and maximize the value of the Ohio Beef Expo Super Star Angus Sale. The Ohio Angus Board of Directors voted at their August Board meeting to implement a series of rule and criteria changes to the Bull division of this sale. The Ohio Angus board feels that these progressive changes will bolster the sale offering of bulls and help you, perspective buyers find more value in the bulls selling. The new rules and criteria include:
• All bulls are born on or before March 1st of the prior calendar year. • All bulls have been DNA tested (Angus GS™, HD50K, or i50K) • All bulls have passed a (BSE) Breeding Soundness Exam within 30 days prior to the sale. • All bulls rank in the top 50% of the breed for at least 3 of the following traits: CED, BW, WW, YW, Marb & REA.
