VISION DAY “Recovering the Light: Resounding Success on World Sight Day 2023” In the second week of October, Clínicas Visualiza immerses itself in a noble mission: to restore vision to those who have lost it. Every year, on the occasion of World Sight Day, our headquarters come together in an initiative of love and commitment to the community. This year, under the motto “Love your work, love your eyes”, we have exceeded all expectations.

During this month of hope, we have dedicated ourselves to identifying patients in need of cataract surgery donations. Conducting exhaustive evaluations at all of our locations, both Vision Centers and Hospitals, we have tirelessly sought out those who can see the world clearly once again. The surgeries were carried out in our

hospital centers, with the Vincent Pescatore Hospital being the starting point on Thursday the 5th and Friday the 6th, followed by Xela on Monday the 9th and Tuesday the 10th, culminating with an emotional closing on Thursday, October 12. In total, more than 210 cataract surgery donations marked this month as a period of joy and transformation. Cataracts are one of the leading causes of vision loss worldwide, affecting people of all ages. They are opacities in the lens of the eye that can interfere with everyday vision. At Clínicas Visualiza, we understand the importance of addressing this problem comprehensively.

CELEBRATING CHILDREN’S DAY With our comprehensive program “Looking towards the future that is part of Ventanitas de luz, we had the opportunity to bring joy and eye health to the students of the official Urbana Eufemia Córdoba School located in the capital city, celebrating Children’s Day in a special way. . Eye evaluations, informative talks on eye health for students and teachers, games animated by the little clown, were some of the activities that made the event a pleasant and learning moment.
