INTERNATIONAL DAY OF GLAUCOMA
According to the WHO, it is estimated that worldwide 4.5 million people are blind due to glaucoma and 60 million people suffer from this disease.
Every March 12, World Glaucoma Day is commemorated with the aim of raising awareness among the population about this disease and promoting periodic ophthalmological check-ups.
Glaucoma Week was commemorated in Visualiza with the campaign “Don’t let Glaucoma change your life” focusing on general awareness about the disease and awareness of the importance of having eye exams. At Clínicas Visualiza we have been supporting Guatemalan society through discounts on study packages, medicines, free consultations for relatives with a history of glaucoma; this with the aim of detecting more population suffering from the disease and thus achieve early detection in order to have an effective medical follow-up.

In the month of March there was a visit from Dr. Francisco de León, where he was supporting consultations and surgeries. During Dr. De León’s visit, various procedures were performed, 20 laser and OCT surgeries that were already scheduled in the northern region of the country.
As part of our growth and optimization in our ophthalmological services, the new service focused on patients with glaucoma was launched, this will benefit diagnosed patients from the Petén region and surrounding places.
Likewise, and in pursuit of our line of quality and compliance with Guatemalan laws, the renewal of Sanitary Licenses was carried out in our hospital.

We continue to grow in quality and service in our Diabetic Center, now we have the implementation of USG.
This new service comes hand in hand with the incorporation of new doctors who will provide a seal of quality and care in diagnosis. Through our marketing and communication team, we have publicized the clinical services that we have in our Diabetic Center, thus managing to promote and attract new patients to achieve our goal with Clínica Visualiza, which is to bring visual health to all of Guatemala.

WOMEN’S DAY AND UDITION DAY CLINICS VISUALIZA
Celebrating Guatemalan women on their day, our clinic commemorated this special day by providing an eye care kit to the patients seen on their day. As part of the same activity, free consultations were provided to the companions who visited us on March 8.
Adding to the commemoration of World Hearing Day, in our clinics we promoted the audiometry service and likewise had special discounts on hearing aids.

Use of portable binocular autorefractometer. Training aimed at Conferences, to publicize ways to analyze vision through the Binocular autorefractometer, quickly and intelligently to detect refractive errors.

Culmination: orbital ocular ultrasound course. Training aimed at Ophthalmologists, with the objective of carrying out a systematic and complete diagnostic examination of the eyeball and orbit, as well as differentiating normal and abnormal findings of the eyeball and orbit.
IV Penal Tax Congress. Conference addressed to the Financial Management area, strengthening labor commitment by making part of the teams, improving the perception of the collaborator towards the company and thus improving labor productivity.

Microsoft experience day /data & ai. Conference addressed to the person in charge of Application Support, where updated information on current technology scenarios (SQL, Modern Data Warehouse in Azure and Azure AI Services + Open AI) was obtained.
