CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION
As part of our commitment, we have different medical activities that help us to be at the forefront of research, education and implementation of new clinical methods and services so that our patients have the best and highest quality in all their diagnoses, surgeries and medications.
During the month of January, achievements were made, such as the first placement of the JK PRO device by Dr. Renato Papa.
Visit of Dr. Alcántara to our Vincent Pescatore hospital to perform strabismus surgeries, performing said surgeries on more than 30 children in the peten area.
Credit hours from the College of Physicians were also awarded to Visualiza staff as part of the Continuing Medical Education program, in the conference given by Dr. Diego Bolaños on the Ortho-k myopia treatment operation.
This includes detailed knowledge and identification of the functions of each component of an orthokeratology lens, in order to properly select the most suitable candidates. In addition, to identify possible complications that may arise during treatment.
Within the support program of Medical Coordination for Flow Management, the review and training program of the counselors was carried out, updating the checklist for procedures, health and management of updated prices and their payment options.
As part of our commitment, we obtained the installation and delivery of the latest FACO machine acquired by Visualiza, provided training by the supplier ST-medik to all our operating room staff in our hospitals in the city and Petén, and the use of Wet-Lab to students, thus providing improvements in technology to our patients.

CHIMALTENANGO
The Municipal Hall of Parramos, Chimaltenango, was the setting for an oph thalmological day that made a difference in the lives of many people. Thanks to the support of the Municipality of Parramos, comprehensive eye care was provided to the community, with services that included recruitment for surge ries, evaluation, sale of medicines, donation of lenses and surgical procedures.

The main objective is to strengthen the network of Health Promoters through a Training Workshop on National Ocular Health Standards. With the goal of training 70 collaborators, this initiative seeks to improve the early detection of ocular pathologies and guarantee access to ophthalmological care in the region.
This joint effort reaffirms Visualiza’s commitment to the visual health of the community, promoting concrete actions to prevent blindness and improve the quality of life of hundreds of people. We continue to advance towards a clearer vision for all!

With the aim of developing greater awareness of the importance of quality in our services and products; emphasizing the need to listen to the patient at each stage of the process, through the creation of clear, measurable and achievable goals to evaluate progress and ensure continuous improvement.
TELEMEDICINE (Flow System)
In order to provide optometrists with the skills and knowledge necessary to efficiently use the telemedicine module of the Visualiza Flow System; allowing fluid and effective communication with the ophthalmologist, to facilitate coordination in patient care. In addition, improve the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of cases remotely, guaranteeing timely and quality care without the need to transfer patients to hospitals.
Biometrics and Selection of Intraocular Lenses
Train Vincent Pescatore counseling staff in performing and interpreting ocular biometry for proper intraocular lens (IOL) selection, ensuring accuracy in calculations and lens type selection based on patient needs.
Microsoft BI DATA Diploma
Load, cleanse, and transform data, modeling data to maximize performance and scalability. Design and create reports for data analysis, as well as apply and perform advanced analytics on those reports. Manage and share report-related assets efficiently.
