Visualiza Innovating for our private clinic patients It has developed an application where they can schedule an appointment, view medical history, view studies and exams, view calendar of appointments and scheduled surgeries; so they can also have the option to order online pharmacy and optics.
This tool was created so that patients can access and view their medical history, have a new contact channel and make it easier to schedule their appointment. This is part of the innovation that Visualiza has developed for its patients creating a closer bond for them.
Our vision center in Coban, in search of raising awareness among the population about eye health care, gave talks information to the Las Pacayas community. This activity was carried out with the support of the office for the elderly in San Cristobal Coban, where they were informed about the care of sight and the most common diseases that can affect vision.

Our vision center in Coban continues to grow and help to the northern region of the country. now have the benefit transfer of patients to the central hospital where studies, evaluations with specialists and surgical procedures can be carried out for those who need it. We continue to improve our service to impact the Guatemalan society.



OUTREACH ACTIVITIES

We continue touring all corners of the country, thus reaching more communities nationwide. Our team, with the purpose that characterizes us, traveled to different communities, including:
Outreach activity in the municipality of San Luis Jilotepeque, Jalapa. With the support of the women’s office and the municipal health program, more than 70 adults and 15 children were treated, where all were evaluated and cases of cataract and pterygium were detected among them; Several children entered the Ventanitas De Luz program to help Guatemalan children. Another one is scheduled to take place in March.
Surgical Day Camp in Camoja, Huehuetenango.

In the Camojá village of Huehuetenango, the surgical day was carried out where 50 people were benefited with cataract and pterygium surgeries. In the group of patients evaluated Visualiza donated 3 surgeries from our “Cataract Surgery for the Elderly” program
Outreach activity in Xojola municipality, Solola.
In alliance with the clinic of Concepción
Ixtacapa Partners in Development and Visualiza, evaluations were carried out for the people of the community, diagnosing 30 cases of cataract and pterygium. Likewise, during the conference, various ocular pathologies were evaluated and detected in the children of the region.



TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
This year we returned motivated and eager to continue in favor of the growth of our collaborators, for this reason in the month of January we began with our workshops and training that will encourage the professional and personal growth of the Visualiza team.

For the formation of the Guastatoya vision center team, the workshop was given with the objective of instructing the good practice of customer service using a practical and reliable model, in order to impact, attract and retain patients.

Thyroid Disease: clinical evaluation, and when to proceed to surgical approach.
Aimed at the clinic’s specialist doctors, in the workshop they learned the correct preoperative management of patients with thyroid, implications for anesthetic management, proper preoperative approach, and possible postoperative complications.



Periorbital neoplasia workshop: diagnosis and surgical management.
Aimed at the specialist doctors of the clinic, updated information was provided on the signs and symptoms of a periorbital neoplasia with the aim of publicizing signs, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of the same.
