TRAINING DAY 2024

Hospital Visualiza Participates in Training Day 2024: A Commitment to Excellence in Visual Health

Visualiza and its participation in Training Day 2024: Innovation and Visual Health Training Day 2024 stood out for bringing together experts from the region to explore the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in the business world. Hospital Visualiza participated actively, focusing on the application of AI, thus strengthening its commitment to technological innovation and the continuous improvement of healthcare.

Artificial Intelligence and Visual Health

During the event, participants discussed how AI is transforming industries and the importance of sustainability in the business environment. The use of artificial intelligence in eye exams allows for more accurate detection of visual problems in early stages, which increases the chances of successful treatment. Visualiza, by being at the forefront of these advances, is positioned as a benchmark in visual health care, integrating new tools to offer more efficient and accessible care.

Networking and Strategic Opportunities

The event also served as a key platform to establish strategic relationships with other professionals and companies in the sector. Visualiza representatives took advantage of the space to strengthen alliances and explore new collaboration opportunities that promote the expansion of their programs.

Visualiza Hospital’s participation in Training Day 2024 reaffirms its commitment to excellence and innovation. Through the integration of artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technologies, the hospital seeks to continue improving the quality of medical care, ensuring that its patients receive accurate diagnoses and cutting-edge treatments. OPHTHALMOLOGICAL DAYS

Bringing light to Huehuetenango: Surgical day transforms lives

In an emotional day, our medical team performed multiple surgeries in Huehuetenango, providing a new opportunity to patients with pterygium, cataracts and other eye pathologies. We were able to restore the vision of dozens of people, significantly improving their quality of life. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to eye health and the well-being of the most needy communities.

Huehuetenango

Visualiza Hospital Holds Visual Health Day at the Guatemalan Air Force.

In its ongoing commitment to improving the visual health of Guatemalans, Visualiza Hospital held a free ophthalmological day at the facilities of the Guatemalan Air Force. The objective of this activity was to examine patients and detect people with visual problems, especially those who could benefit from cataract surgery, the main cause of preventable blindness in the world.

During the day, dozens of patients from different areas of the capital city were treated free of charge by the team of specialists at Visualiza Hospital. The exams included complete eye exams, diagnoses of refractive problems and the detection of eye pathologies, such as cataracts. This initiative is part of Visualiza’s social commitment, whose purpose is to bring ophthalmological care to people who need it most and do not have access to specialized treatments.

Cataracts: A Problem That Can Be Solved

Cataracts are a common eye condition, especially in older adults, that causes progressive vision loss. In advanced stages, they can lead to blindness if not treated in time. The good news is that, with a simple and highly effective surgery, vision can be almost completely restored.

The event at the Guatemalan Air Force allowed the identification of several patients with cataracts who are now being evaluated to receive the donation of surgeries. These operations will be fully covered by Visualiza as part of its social program, which seeks to restore sight to hundreds of people each year.
