VINCENT PESCATORE HOSPITAL Facilities improvement in order to facilitate accessibility In order to improve our service and facilities, several modifications have been made, enabling accessible areas so our patients with disabilities can feel comfortable when moving around the clinic; this is a great step to provide visual health to patients regardless of their physical conditions.

As part of our marketing strategies, our clinics are being promoted through the media, such as: radio, billboards and digital screens. In the month of January, two conferences were organized with Radio Interface, Dr. Ogaldez was interviewed on the topic “What are cataracts” and Dra. Aceituno on the topic “Useful tips and care for the return to school”; also promoted the importance of the annual eye checkup.
New Medical Staff Our new member staff Dr. Sergio Marroquín, specialist in internal medicine and pediatrics, and Dr. Nesly Méndez, ophthalmologist, has joined Visualiza’s medical team at Vincent Pescatore Hospital.

HOSPITAL VISUALIZA XELA Improvement of facilities in Xela clinic At the start of the year 2022, improvements were made to the infrastructure and identification of different areas in the clinic; this in order to make it easier for our patients to visit our facilities. In addition, the Institutional image was improved through signs and signage.
New ophthalmology equipment New biometer equipment was installed in the ophthalmology area in order to have the appropriate equipment to perform quality surgeries to our patients.

Breaking through in the communication media. Thanks to our marketing team, we were able to arrange a live tour of our vision center in Huehuetenango, showing the facilities and each of the areas of the vision center. We also have a live interview with Dr. Barrios in which the topic “Eyesight care before the use of electronic devices” was discussed.
Totonicapan In the Totonicapán vision center, through Radio La Super, a Facebook live was conducted, showing the facilities and the services provided by the vision center.

INDISTRAINABLE WORKSHOP, this workshop was aimed by our management, administrative and medical team, to promoted tools to improve management time in daily basis tasks, avoid distractions and thus be more efficient.
TASS MANAGEMENT - Training on management of Toxic Anterior Segment Toxic Syndrome TASS, presented by Dr. Bregni and Dr. Barrios. The objective of this training was to prepare the ophthalmology team to be able to have more efficient and updated management.

Workshop on Quadratic Bank Reconciliation, which was given by the Superintendence of Tax Administration of Guatemala SAT, in order to update tools that will allow reconciling and comparing the values of the company.

Corporate visual health During the month of January, the Integral Health Promotion Unit carried out ophthalmologic evaluations for INTCOMEX collaborators, the company is located on the industrial Condado El Naranjo. More than 90 collaborators were evaluated in ocular refraction for glasses prescription and eye pathologies detection.
