On October 11, 1958, sixteen distinguished black women came together to establish the Durham (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. We commemorate these extraordinary women of our past. We continue the journey of fulfilling our purpose; friends transforming communities through service. We celebrate our legacy of 67 years of leadership, friendship, philanthropy and service in the Durham community.

The Links, Incorporated created its first program facet, Services to Youth, to empower black youth to use their intellect and spirit of achievement to become successful and productive citizens.
