As mothers and leaders, we know that true leadership is about more than what we accomplish today it’s about the legacy we build for the future. It’s about creating a giving world where our children are empowered to lead with compassion, purpose, and vision. This belief drives my passion for serving as Regional Foundation Member at Large (MAL), where I’m committed to ensuring that our collective efforts shape the world our children will inherit.
As I look back on my first term, I’m deeply proud of what we’ve accomplished together. From impactful initiatives to new partnerships, our work has not only made a difference in our communities but has laid the foundation for even greater change. What excites me most, though, is the spirit behind it all the heart, dedication, and collaboration that unites us in our mission to serve and uplift others. It’s this spirit that will continue to inspire and equip the next generation of leaders.
Looking ahead, I remain focused on expanding our reach and deepening our impact Together, we will continue to build our giving world, where service is more than an action it’s a way of life. We will create more leadership opportunities for our children and equip them with the tools they need to shape the future with purpose and integrity.
I am excited to continue this journey with all of you as we strengthen our legacy of service, leadership, and love, and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.

As Past National Vice President, I remain inspired by purposeful leadership. From the earliest days of her membership in Jack and Jill, Jasmine Smith, our current Member-at-Large, expressed a desire to share her passion for serving the community with our organization. She started early on as Foundation Chair for our Dynamic Durham Chapter, where she launched “The Power to Make a Difference Scholarship.” Thanks to her vision and support, we have awarded over $31,000 and counting to support African-American males pursuing higher education.
MAL Jasmine also displayed her incredible talents as our National Strategic Partnerships Chair, leading the way in raising over $1 million for our national convention, and setting a new standard for giving for Jack and Jill.
In her current role, MAL Jasmine has led the Marvelous Mid-Atlantic Region with great vision, strategy, and heart. From 2023–2025, her leadership resulted in $1.8 million in philanthropic impact, $556,000 raised for the Foundation, and 38,000 youth volunteer hours. Through innovative partnerships and powerful service initiatives, MAL Jasmine has led us with passion and purpose
When it comes to serving and giving, MAL Jasmine is a role model for us all I proudly endorse Jasmine Smith for re-election as Member-at-Large. She will lead and inspire us all to be part of a giving world
