Spring brings color and warmth to the atmosphere, especially in downtown Durango. After a long, cold winter and the COVID-riddled state of the world for the past two years, it's no secret things seem a little boring – or dead, even. But just in time, amidst all the chaos of the world, to save us from another depressive spiral, the air is warm, the river is running, the bees are buzzing, the trees are blossoming, and spring is here! It's always nice to slow down and appreciate what's around you. There's so much color in the world and so many beautiful things to appreciate, whether it’s how the sun hits the river just right and glistens, the random figurines in your neighbor’s front yard, or the painting you see on the back of a dumpster, it’s all to be appreciated.
