If you’re here in the winter, fear not: Most of the town’s shops, cafés, and restaurants are open year-round, and you might be surprised at the gems to be found in the boutiques and galleries here.
If shopping isn’t your thing, you’ve come to a skier’s paradise. Kendall Mountain is perfect for families and beginners, and Silverton Mountain offers visitors access to 400 inches of powder a year. Whether you prefer to find your dream line via lift access or guided heli-skiing, this mountain is an expert rider’s paradise.
