f you have attended high-end automotive events, you may have had the opportunity to see a McLaren P1 in person. It’s unlikely you have seen the track-ready P1 GTR. And it’s even less likely that you have seen VIN# 01. That's right, we’re referring to the first McLaren P1 GTR, which is also the first that is legal to be driven on the street. With only 900 miles, this car is ready to be the centerpiece of your collection. Its hybrid engine provides the driver with 986 horsepower, an 83 hp increase over the standard P1. Power of this magnitude allows it to reach 60 mph in only 2.4 seconds and a top speed of 225 mph. Imagine owning something so elite that there is not another like it in the world. Even if you had the means to do so, replicating this gorgeous automobile would be impossible. McLaren only built 45 examples of the GTR, and this was the first to be created. When the GTR program was announced, the factory became the focus of the automotive world. As such, they increased the security of the complex to maximum levels. The same facility that is home to McLaren’s Formula 1 teams built this car by hand. The P1 GTR prototype was first unveiled in August of 2014 at Pebble Beach. Everyone thought it was too wild for production, but the bluff was called. Less than a year later, a production-ready P1 GTR was shown at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It was only offered to current owners of a P1 and #01 was immediately secured. Once the first VIN was claimed, the owner personally oversaw the construction during several visits to the McLaren Technology Center in Woking, England. It arrived in the U.S. ready for the road after being modified to a European street legal configuration. It’s also the only yellow example to have accents of Fire Engine Red. All other GTR examples have Kelly Green stripes to honor the famed Harrods Department Store. When this build started in 2015, the skilled technicians were celebrating the 20th anniversary of their LeMans victory. 20

W
hen Mercedes and McLaren combined their efforts in the early 2000’s to create a true supercar, they competed with two of the—until today—most iconic models, which created the definition “supercar”. Porsche’s Carrera GT and Ferrari’s Enzo. With the Carrera GT and the Enzo reaching stratospheric values, the SLR McLaren is just as legendary as his two competitors. Powered by one of AMG’s most vigorous and most reliable engines, their 5.5L supercharged V8—best known as the “55 AMG Kompressor”. This for the SLR evolved M113 engine produced up to 617 HP and 580 LB-FT from the factory. The design team took their inspiration from the historic Mercedes-Benz 300SLR race car and created the unmistakable front end with the legendary nose design. This design allowed the driver to be placed behind the engine, while the engine itself is still mounted behind the front wheel. Therefore, the SLR McLaren is defined as a Mid-Engine car while the driver gets a unique perspective and seating experience for a supercar. 1957 CHRIS CRAFT MAHOGANY SPORTSMAN. 283 V8 Chevy small block, was completely rebuilt before I bought it and only has 227 hours since rebuild. All manuals, brochures, original receipt for boat delivery. I had her varnish done by the professionals at Woodies Restorations in Russell Springs, KY and as you can see, she looks absolutely amazing! They removed all hardware, did all of the wet sanding, applied three new coats of varnish, did the restriping, etc. The transmission was replaced this winter by the same company as well along with replacing points and completely tuning up engine. Have all receipts for all work done. In 2000, under the previous owner, every plank was removed, planed and replaced if needed. A new Rayco fuel tank was added, modern gauges as well. Sound down was added to the doghouse and a new 5200 new solid bottom was applied. In a nutshell the boat was completely refurbished and I have all of the receipts for that as well, over $23,000 of work for that alone. The interior is a dark green and is in perfect condition.
