ANTHOLOGY’: AN ODE TO SHERRY CASK MASTERY
Nestled in the Valley of Forgue, deep in the East Highland hills, is The GlenDronach, one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. The GlenDronach was founded in 1826 by James Allardice, an early pioneer of sherry cask maturation.

THE GLENDRONACH 12
The GlenDronach 12-Year-Old epitomises our unyielding dedication to the mastery of our craft. This richly sherried Highland single malt scotch whisky presents smooth vanilla and soft fruits.
Colour: Deep amber-red gold.
Nose: Sweet, creamy vanilla with hints of ginger. Spiced mulled wine and pear.
Taste: Rich oak, sherry sweetness, raisins and soft fruits. Spicy with medium length and a dry finish.
ODE TO THE VALLEY
This expression presents sweet notes of floral nectar to dance in harmony with succulent ripe summer berries.
Colour: Burnished copper
Nose: Late summer berries and chocolate de leche imbued with sweet demerara and apricot glaze
Taste: Sip blackberry and roasted apple crumble with freshly baked gingerbread and sweet damson plum
fruity flavours, from the Pedro Ximenez casks we select, to the dry and nutty notes, from superb Oloroso casks.
The GlenDronach stills are specially created in order to draw out deep fruit notes and oily texture. This is perfectly matched to the deep fruit notes in the sherry casks. The Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks are blended together in a unique ratio to create a well rounded and robust single malt.
ODE TO THE EMBERS
Intertwined notes of peat smoke, with a dominance of Oloroso sherry casks for spiced complexity, enriched with our signature Pedro Ximénez casks.
Colour: Smouldering amber
Nose: Cinnamon spiced toffee, apple and caramelised walnut brittle intertwine with flamed orange on a smouldering open fire
Taste: Raisin and honeyed walnut meld with bramble ganache and smoked chocolate fudge
ODE TO THE DARK
Matured in exceptional Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, and bottled at high strength,this expression elevates richness with layers of flavour.
Colour: Black garnet
Nose: A symphony of mocha, black cherry and dark chocolate precede créme brûlée with raisin, brown sugar and ginger
Taste: Velvet layers of smooth espresso and crème caramel fold into black grape and mint chocolate ganache
