shapes, an emphasis on simplicity and open spaces. We let go of the need to complicate and overly accessorize, driven by a new emphasis on experience and process. Difficult times have taught us to be more resilient and we are embarking on a renewed quest for balance and wellness.

Creating beautiful, timeless interiors that prioritize comfort and elegance, Samantha Williams now finds herself at the front lines of a quiet design revolution.

With a Master's degree in Interior Architecture, Williams is influenced by the classical principles of design; she aims to strike the perfect balance between form and function, aesthetics and ease. Her gift for filling spaces while maintaining a sense of spaciousness has earned her the title of Meraki Ambassador. Encapsulating the movement in a sentence, Williams explains, “It gives us the space to reinvent ourselves.”

RETROU RETRO ELEMENTS // Upbeat environments adorned in tangy palettes are punctuated with bohemian touches, figurative scenes, and stylized motifs inspired by Matisse and Miro.

Unfussy and casual, spaces embrace a “cottage in the South” feel; becoming colorful havens that celebrate both tradition and improvisation. Handmade ceramics and basketwork reflect a desire to connect with the creators behind our daily objects.

In a new form of folk, we curate atmospheres capable of welcoming visitors from the real and online worlds.

Working in both public relations and design, Rebecca Raskind is all about people.

Merging color and Doors: Spring Garden DE5671 design with a Photography by Bethany Nauert sensibility for the human experience, she creates entertainment-ready spaces that evoke a feeling of celebration.

Incorporating eclectic and bohemian elements, Raskind plays with pops of color, textures, patterns, and hand-selected pieces that tell a story. The appeal of Retrouvailles lies in a simple truth, “People want to feel connected,” she says.

ELEMENTS // Elegant cocoons reimagine depictions of ancient or imaginary adventures through the prism of modernity.

Furnishings, fabrics, and décor are selected to delight all six senses. Real and ornamental florals hint at herbaceous and blossoming scents. Opulent fabrics engage our sense of touch. Accent objects and prints of ancient symbols, forbidden fruits and exotic fauna evoke visual, palatable, and auditory storylines that activate our sense of the extraordinary.

As Dunn-Edwards Color and Design Expert, Sara McLean pulls together palettes that evolve to match our changing human perspectives. She views color arrangement like a story. In Mysa, McLean sees a tale of discovery and escape, where the protagonist seeks out a type of “safe adventure” from the reassuring comfort of home. She explains, “We escape to distant worlds, finding coziness in a dream.”

Belgian-born multimedia designer and artist Caroline Geys explores it all in her work: color, landscape topography, geometry, nature, architecture, and timeless optimism. Residing in Los Angeles, Geys is a prolific creator who brings together geometric and amorphous shapes to tell new stories about the evolution of science and nature.

Nauert's work captures the intersection of lifestyle and architecture. Hints of humanity and traces of activity reveal a room's true soul and purpose. Of Naturrensing, she says, “It's a way to integrate the outside world and the calmness of nature.”

Finding a balance between archaic beauty and sustainable comfort, spaces feature modest design and naturally noble, ethically sourced materials. Primitive and handmade pieces make thoughtful statements, connecting us to our own evolution and impermanence. Instead of glorifying nature through stylized and distorted depictions of it, we are now seeking to immerse ourselves within it.
