Louth Village man Brendan Lawlor will compete alongside some of the best golfers in the world following the news that the Australian All Abilities Championship will run alongside the Australian Open, a tournament which has been won by superstars Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott and Lee Westwood in recent years. Brendan will compete against eleven of the world’s leading golfers with a disability in the Australian
All Abilities Championship with a chance of reaching number one in the rankings if he can go on and win the tournament. The format is a world-first championship for golfers with a disability as it will be contested during this year’s Emirates Australian Open in Sydney.
