As organ donor awareness week gets underway a local newly formed football team have done their bit to spread awareness with a unique link up with the Irish Kidney Association. Castletown Belles are the reincarnation of the famous Castletown Girls team that was built on the grassroots in Fatima almost three decades ago. Last week at their launch they introduced a brand new jersey in conjunction with local sportswear company CX Sport and emblazoned on the front of their shirt is the Irish Kidney Association logo which the girls will wear with pride for at least the next three years. The talented musician is just back from America where she performed for President Obama at the White House during the St Patrick’s Day celebrations in Washington. Full Story on Page 2
