A teenage girl was subjected to a frightening ordeal when a man exposed himself on a busy residential street. Gardai are anxious to identify the man who made the approach to the girl on Friday June 16 at 8.45pm on St Alphonsus Road. The man was sitting in a small black car when he called the girl over and exposed himself to her. The girl, who is in her midteens, was very frightened and ran off. Gardai have appealed to anyone with information to come forward and assist the investigation into what a Garda spokesman says is considered a very serious matter. “We are very keen to identify this man as quickly as possible because these incidents can escalate into something more serious. "We are asking anyone who may have seen a man acting suspiciously to come forward, and likewise if anyone else was approached.
