Residents continue to fight quarry By Paul Byrne The Ballymakellett and District Residents Group insist they will continue to fight against the planned re-opening of a stone quarry in Ravensdale which moved a step closer last week when Louth County Council granted planning permission to Buncorp Group Ltd. Limited conditional planning permission was given to Buncorp to reopen the quarry for the production of road making and aggregate materials on September 10. Under the terms of the application, the quarry would reopen for a period of five years. Objections must be lodged within 28 days. See Page 11
