As the country braces itself for the second lockdown of the year a local teachers union representative has issued her concerns about the government’s approach to testing and tracing.

Local INTO representative Catherine Flanagan said more needs to be done in schools and teachers need to feel safe ahead of the latest lockdown which will begin at midnight tonight. She made her comments after INTO general secretary, John Boyle, described the Government’s approach to testing and tracing as “shambolic” on RTÉ radio’s Morning Ireland. Continued on Page 2
