EVE McCrystal is arriving home from the Paralympics in Rio as a double Olympic medallist following two fantastic performances on the bike with her partner Katie George Dunleavy Eve and Katie bounced back from disappointment in the velodrome earlier on in the competition (where they narrowly missed out on reaching the final) to win gold in the pursuit race last Wednesday on the road. They were back out on Sunday evening for their final road race of the Paralympics and led for about three quarters of the race before being passed out by the Polish bike of Iwona Powkoscielna and Alexsandra Teclaw.
