Gardaí arrested a man, aged in his 30s, on Monday morning in relation to the capital murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe on 25th January 2013. The man was arrested in the Dundalk area shortly before 8.30am and is currently being detained at Dundalk Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007. The 32-year-old man from Co. Armagh can legally be questioned for up to seven days. Gardaí believe that the man was involved in the robbery at Lordship Credit Union which led to the murder of the father of Detective Garda Donohoe. The arrest is a major development in the case and follows the conviction of Aaron Brady (30) for capital murder last year. Continued on Page 2
