Community to pay tribute to three who lost their lives in Carlingford By Paul Byrne
The community of Carlingford will gather this Saturday at 8pm at the tourist office for a candlelight vigil to remember the three people who lost their lives over St Patrick’s weekend. A tragic weekend for the community began when the body of 30-year old mother of three, Ruth Maguire, was found in Carlingford Lough. Ruth, who was originally from Belfast but living in Newcastle, Co. Down was last seen in Taaffe’s Bar in Carlingford on Saturday evening where she was celebrating a friend’s hen night. Full Story on Page 2
