Dundalk FC supporters were left shaken on Friday night as a gang of thugs threw bricks at the supporters buses outside the Brandywell in Derry. Windows were smashed and one young Dundalk supporter got cut just under his eye narrowly avoiding a much more serious injury. The incident occurred after Dundalk’s 1-0 victory over Derry and is believed to have been instigated by local individuals who were not at the game and who have nothing to do with Derry City football club.
