Local nurses targeted by cruel car thieves

The husband of a local nurse whose car was broken into while she worked a 12-hour shift is calling on the Health Service Executive (HSE) to “step up security”. Jordan Dennis told the Dundalk Leader that his wife, Louise, a nurse in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda fears for her safety after the upsetting incident. “She went into work last Friday starting at 8pm and was finishing up the following morning at 8am,” he said. “When she got back to her car, she saw that the window had been smashed and the glove compartment was open. “They had tried to pry the door open and ended up smashing the glass to break into the car.
