Super gran takes parachute jump By Paul Byrne
A BLACKROCK grandmother with a head for heights will take to the skies this weekend before jumping out of a plane from 10,000 feet as she takes part in a charity parachute jump for Cara Care Cancer Centre. Fearless Ann Guest was supposed to do the jump in Edenderry, Co. Offaly last weekend but much to her disappointment it had to be postponed due to the bad weather. The 74 year old OAP said that it was the biggest disappointment of her life when she was told the jump would have to be postponed but she remains hopeful that the weather gods will be smiling down on her this weekend and she will be able Rebecca O’Donagh and Jessica Coffee at the Louis to collect Junior Cert results on Wednesday to do it then. See Page 15 afternoon. See pages 8, 10 & 14

However, the search concluded last week as Gardaí re-evaluated where they were at with the search. According to Detective Inspector Marry a future search at Balmers Bog has not been ruled out.
