Dundalk respond to refugee crisis

By Paul Byrne People in Dundalk have rallied together to try and do something for the ever worsening refugee crisis as collection points around town have been set up to send to migrants in Calais. Following the horrific pictures of three year old Aylan Kurdi’s corpse lying washed up on a beach in Turkey last week people from all around Europe have intensified their efforts to try and help out as refugees from war torn countries, particularly Syria flee their homelands. In Dundalk, collection centres have been set up in the Longwalk Shopping Centre, Seven Cabs and Coach Hire and Dundalk BIDS and tourist office.
