Blackrock cleaned up at the Supervalu Tidy Towns Awards with the picturesque village winning no less than four awards including the prestigious title of ‘Ireland’s Tidiest Small Town’. This was the first time in Blackrock’s history that they were given this award which led Blackrock Tidy Town’s chairman John Horan to declare that “after 26 years of hard work we’ve become an overnight success”.
