Award for local film maker By Paul Byrne Local film-maker Ian Hunt-Duffy has been recognised for his ‘Captain’s Armband’ video at the Young Director Awards with a runner up award in the commercials category. The Blackrock man has been riding the crest of a wave in recent months with his short film ‘Gridlock’ winning best Irish short award at both the Cork and Foyle film festivals. Those awards put him on the long list for next year’s academy awards. Ian’s ‘Captain’s Armband’ video was produced for Dundalk FC sponsors Fyffes. Continued on Page 15
