ETS Reduction Support
We understand that Extra to Specifications (ETS) can potentially increase the overall cost of the new home build. We provide operational process, training, tools and support to your Supervisors and Contractors during the construction process to minimise the potential need for the ETS.
Supervisor Support
With our Quality Assurance tools and Procurement Compliance reports we save time for Supervisors, helping them easily track and manage new home builds and ensure the system of products is applied as per the specification.
Contractor Support

Our state-of-the-art Research and Development facilities are Certified to ISO 9001:2015 for Dulux Decorative Paints and Dulux Protective Coatings New Product Development.
Our chemists, technologists and product development specialists ensure we continue to be first-to-market with products and ranges that anticipate and respond to emerging construction, building and maintenance requirements, as well as lifestyle trends and consumer needs.
We’re backing our chemists by equipping them with the latest tools and technology. Our local state-of-the-art automated laboratory, equipped with cutting-edge robotics, has been specifically designed for developing and testing the next generation of paints. By harnessing the precision and efficiency of robotics, we can rapidly make and test vast arrays of paint formulations. The result is high quality data that helps us accelerate innovation by gaining valuable insights faster, ensuring that our products are fine-tuned to deliver on durability, application, and environmental sustainability.

We have a long history of continuous improvement in sustainability impacts, from championing industry leading safety performance and eliminating hazardous substances from our finished products, to driving significant reductions in landfill waste and contributing to our local communities, we’re focused on making a positive contribution and reducing our environmental impact.
Project Earth
Project Earth™ is a new Dulux sustainability initiative that will divert tonnes of single use waste plastic from landfill.
Used 15 Litre Dulux plastic pails and tear strips are recycled from commercial projects, multi dwelling and detached homes and are manufactured into 100% recycled Australian-made plastic roller trays, paint stirrers and buckets that are then sold through our trade channels.
Project Earth™ aims to divert over 5 million used Dulux plastic paint pails from landfill to recycling by 2030.
Product Stewardship Award
Dulux won the ‘Best Stewardship Outcome – Individual Business (large) category’ in 2022 for Project Earth, judged by an expert panel with expertise across product stewardship, circular economy and business sustainability as selected by the Product Stewardship Centre of Excellence.
With this initiative, Dulux had proven thought leadership by closing the loop and encouraging the return of used 15L paint pails which were subsequently recycled into durable new paint pots and roller trays to sell back through our trade channels. Not only has this initiative already contributed to 10,000 empty pails being diverted from landfill and reduced waste costs to business, but has also contributed to new jobs and manufacturing in the Australian market.
