VARIANT
The project offers a variety of unit types including townhomes and one bedroom condos. The focus of our project was to provide daily interactions between residents of the community while also emphasizing circulation. The complexes are arranged in a symmetrical manner and mirrored to provide variation within the space. The pond runs between both units. Included in both the townhomes and condos are large windows for natural lighting and balconies for people to enjoy the outdoors while staying in the comfort of their homes.

THE SOCIAL HOME
May 2022

PART AND WHOLE
In this exercise I created clusters from shapes using different shapes and forms of each other. Then, various shapes were used to cut voids into the cluster models. Eventually, from all itterations, I chose one cluster that I wanted to develop further.

Artwork on model ISO
I designed a few abstract models of a pavilion in Rhino and then made foam models. After visiting the site, I was able to think deeper into where I would want to place my pavilion, the exact patterns that I wanted to use and what materials I wanted to incorporate. Finally, after sever itterations, I was able to complete my project.

In this exercise I used my contemporary architect research as well as my agricultural pattern research for inspiration to create my own abstract pattern studies.

Water Exploration
October 2021
For this water exploration, we were asked to play with the relationship between architecture and water. Therefore, I designed and built five working prototypes of water systems.

The Triquad
The Triquad is a verticle takeoff airport. It involves a series of quadrilateral spaces while also incuding multiples of three throughout the program. The airport adds a little of excitement to the traveler’s day by containing several spaces to adventure through ontheir way to their gate. The space is adventourous, but not confusing to the point where guests can miss their flight.

This light fixture project was designed in Rhino and 3D printed. A cord and lightbulb were placed inside to create the lighting. The type of lightbulb that was used for this project is an LED Comfortable Soft White Light with 40w. This lightbulb contains 300 lumens. This type of lighting is good for bedrooms, family rooms, and dining rooms. This lightbulb has a life expectancy of 13 years if it is used less than 3 hours per day.
