We are Hove Village, and we are passionate about providing high quality early years education and childcare. With our contemporary ethos and desirable child-led approach, our nurseries are the perfect choice for parents looking for a safe and secure environment that puts their child first.

From yoga to dance, music to art, rugby and other sporting activities, every day is different at Brighton and Hove’s Creative Day Nurseries. Your child will flourish in a freeing environment, created to allow them to shine and excel with the support of our skilled educators.
New Church Road
Our New Church Road nursery is situated in a beautiful Victorian building next to the very popular Wish Park. Our spacious nursery offers light and bright rooms for each age group and two brandnew gardens which provide dedicated play spaces for babies and older children.

Our flagship setting on New Church Road in Hove is one of the most impressive nurseries you will see.
With beautiful, bright and spacious classroom environments set across almost 8,000 sq. ft., the nursery allows each class to access a wealth of resources including a large dedicated Creative Studio. In addition to the resources within our rooms, the children also have direct access to Wish Park, through one of our two new gardens. We also regularly visit the beach, which is located just at the bottom of our road.

I would highly recommend this nursery. They have so much to offer the children. They are very interested in the development of the children. They offer a website and app where you can see what your child has done for the day, which I find fantastic as you like to see how your child is progressing. By sending your child to this nursery I feel you are giving your child a head start before they start school.

Introducing our newest day nursery in the heart of Brighton’s Kemptown. This amazing location is minutes from the beach and the centre of Kemptown, with all that it has to offer. Newly redeveloped, the setting is bright and open, with a very modern yet cosy feel.

Just minutes from the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Amex HQ & Brighton College, our new contemporary setting allows the children to explore their interests in art, music, dance, yoga and more. Like our other nurseries, Bloomsbury Street Day Nursery is just minutes from the beach.

Hove Library
Children and parents love this intimate setting with access to the library and its own private garden. This relaxed setting is a real hidden gem on Hove’s main high street, providing a cosy and nurturing environment for babies from 12 weeks to children aged 5.
Hove Library
Located on its own private floor within the historic Grade II Listed Hove Library, just moments from the beach and Hove Lawns.
This setting has a particular focus on introducing literature to the children, benefitting from being situated within this fantastic library with access to all their wonderful books. Children will be introduced to science, technology, engineering, arts and maths (STEAM) in fun, age-appropriate and engaging ways.

MUSIC & DANCE
Music and dance are part of daily life at Hove Village. Our own Creative Team includes professional musicians, dance teachers, artists, illustrators and more.
They are educated up to Masters degree level and all work within the settings, which means the children attending our nurseries have access to some of Brighton & Hove’s finest local talent. Our staff have recorded and released their own music, worked on theatre productions, film, children’s books and more.

Creativity is at the forefront of everything we do at Hove Village. The children at our nurseries love to express themselves through many different artistic mediums, from paints to clay, charcoals to collage and more. They find joy in the art materials themselves while taking inspiration from the world around them.

Unique Outdoor Spaces
All three of our nursery settings have private, bespoke outdoor spaces for the children to play and explore. These gardens are full of fun and interesting learning opportunities, giving the children a safe environment in which to interact with the natural world.

Yoga
Led by our trained yoga teachers, our regular yoga classes enable children of all ages to discover and refine body movements, while sharing a fun bonding experience as a group.
Tackling New Skills
The sporting and outdoor activities at Hove Village and Bloomsbury Street enhance the social and physical development of the children. Regular sporting activities like our RugbyTots sessions also help to boost children’s confidence, self-esteem and willingness to learn new skills.

Hove Village has been a great experience for our little girl and we feel she has really developed well since starting there. We know she loves the dance classes and baby yoga and really enjoys the food which is prepared by the chefs. Toilet training was a breeze and we loved the fact that the nursery provided nappies when she was small.

Healthy Meals
All our meals at Hove Village Day Nursery are freshly prepared each day by our in-house team of chefs. Our meals are packed full of fresh ingredients and include a range of dishes that introduce new flavours and textures to children.
Our menus are also updated to ensure seasonality. We incorporate the wealth of cultures we have within the nursery into our meals, exploring foods from many different parts of the world. We cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian and vegan diets.

FEES
Our nursery fees are competitive and all-inclusive. All of our creative activities and classes are included, as are the healthy meals (breakfast, lunch, tea, and snacks), which are prepared onsite by our own professional chefs. Our fees also include excellent quality consumables (nappies, wipes, sun cream etc.), access to an impressive selection of resources, and a wide variety of activities both inside and outside of the classroom. We offer a comprehensive programme of free settling-in sessions to ensure that your child gets the best possible start to nursery. Hove Village Nurseries do not charge for Bank Holidays when the nurseries are closed.

Montessori and Reggio Emilia are key components in our unique blend of creativity-inspired learning and childcare.
Montessori and Hove Village will always be very much intertwined and whilst we do not promote ourselves as an out-and-out, purely Montessori nursery, you will find many of the best aspects embedded in what we do.
