A before school swim squad to develop swimming skills, improve fitness and prepare for galas throughout the year. Children invited to swim squad will receive further information directly from the PE department.

Advanced Netball Club

This netball club will focus on developing more advanced skills including refining skills and tactical team principles.
Multi-Sports Club

This is a fun club where children will play a variety of different sports each week designed to improve fitness and develop skills in these sports. Sports will include: football, tag-rugby, cricket, rounders, dodgeball, handball and gaelic football.
Judo Club
Mr Jones Raphael & Gabriel Room
The judo club will again be run by our current teacher, Mr Paul Jones, who is a former Great Britain representative and Grade 2 master. He is very experienced and teaches in many independent schools.
Multi-Sports Club

This is a fun club where children will play a variety of different sports each week designed to improve fitness and develop skills in these sports. Sports will include: football, tag-rugby, cricket, rounders, dodgeball, handball and gaelic football.
Gymnastics Club
Miss Furneaux & Mrs Glynn St Alban’s Church (pick up at 16NG)
A wonderful opportunity for children to learn and develop their gymnastics skills alongside the lessons they will be having in the spring term. Skills developed will include: rolls, vaults, handstands, cartwheels, amongst many others.

Woodwind Ensemble

Children who play woodwind instruments are invited to this woodwind ensemble with bespoke repertoire designed to engage children in ensemble playing. Children will have the opportunity to perform in concerts throughout the year.
Pippin Choir
Mrs O’Connor Raphael Room
This Form 1 choir will introduce children to singing in a choir and develop skills in singing and perfomance. Children will prepare for a performance in our Spring Concert.
Chamber Choir
Mr Searle Michael Room
Our auditioned chamber choir will continue to look at more challenging and complex repertoire in two part harmony with a focus on more traditional and classical pieces. If your child does not currently have a place in the choir but would like to audition, please contact Mr Searle via the school office.
Senior Choir

Our senior choir is open to all children in Forms 4 - 6 who love singing. Our senior choir rehearse exciting contemporary repertoire in two part harmony and will be preparing for their next performance in the Spring Concert.
Guitar Ensemble
Mr Maxted Newton Grove
An ensemble for advanced guitar players working on a variety of guitar repertorie for performance. This small group allows children to develop ensemble performance skills and children will be performing two pieces in our Spring Concert.
Junior Choir

Our junior choir is open to all children in Forms 2 and 3 to develop their singing skills. The choir will work on engaging repertoire that develops pitch, rhythm and diction alongside preparing to perform at the Spring Concert.
Orchestra

Our school orchestra is a wonderful celebration of our orchestral instrumentalists. All children who are working at grade 1 standard and above on any orchestral instrument are welcome to attend. Orchestra focus on famous orchestral pieces and will be preparing to perform in our Spring Concert.

Art (Comic Book Making) Club

Develop art skills through this club by making your own comic book! Mr Alcaraz Gomez will offer helpful advice and tips where children will develop their own characters and story through the creation of a comic book using pencils, coloured pencils, markers and sharpies!
Little Voices LAMDA Club

This club aims to help children to gain confidence and boost their communication skills at the same time introducing them to the power of public speaking. For those who are keen, there is the option to take LAMDA exams in the future.
Cross Stitch & Embroidery Club

Emroidery is the art of stitching materials of many different colours to create beautiful designs. This will be a mindful, relaxing club to develop creativity and learn new skills with different levels of cross stitch and embroidery available throughout sessions.
Drama Club (LAMDA)

This club is run by teachers from Mance Productions who have run our LAMDA club in previous years. They will lead pupils in a variety of techniques which will help them to develop attributes such as self-confidence and the ability to communicate clearly and present ideas. There may be the option to take LAMDA exams if circumstances allow.
Dance Club
MV Academy Vihara
Our brand new dance club will be run by the highly reputable MV Academy of Performing Arts based in Richmond. Founded by the former Head of Dance at Ibstock Place School, theses dance sessions will teach dance fundamentals in a variety of styles including: jazz, hip hop, street and contemporary.
Pottery Club
Kite Studios Gabriel Room
Run by Kite Studios, these pottery sessions will encapsulate creativity and confidence through all things clay. Learning about design, colour and form, children will develop skills on both the potter's wheel and through pinch pottery and will have the opportunity to fire one piece of work to take home at the end of the term.
M:Tech Creative Composition Club
M:Tech Newton Grove
M:Tech is a creative composition and music technology club in which children create exciting music using the latest music technologies. It is open to children who already play an instrument as well as those discovering music for the first time. During the club, children will be working on Project SPACE. They will explore rocket boosted beats, cosmic chords and galactic sound effects as they create music inspired by space.
Creative Acts Drama Club

This club is taken by professional actors and sees the children look at a variety of techniques to dramatically express themselves. They will work together to put on a short performance at the end of the term.
Arts & Crafts Club

This arts and crafts club will focus on exploring different artists, their background and studying some famous paintings. Children will recreate some of these pieces studied in the own unique way.

Dreaming of becoming a journalist? Become part of the editorial team for the brand new Orchard House school magazine! Children will have the opportunity to report on exciting events, create puzzle pages and interview teachers about the daily happenings at school to produce a termly publication!
Cooking Club

This club will tickle your tastebuds with a variety of sweet, savoury and seasonal recipes. Children will learn fundamental cooking skills including chopping, cutting, mixing and tasting and will have a delicious treat to take home each week!

Book Club

A golden opportunity to read and participate in judging four books that have been shortlisted for the Sparks award. The club will devour and consume the written word; have access to an online ‘Meet the Author’ event; and will have the opportunity to take part in competitions such as design a book cover.
Debating Club

Debating club will allow children of all abilities the opportunity to develop their critical thinking and confident communication skills. It will also allow them to become more informed about the world around them by researching, discussing and presenting topics related to current affairs.
Film Making Club

In this filmmaking club, pupils will learn about the different roles on a film set, both in front and behind the camera, and will try the roles of being actor, director and other production roles. Skills-based lessons will give an understanding of operating camera and sound equipment. Throuhgout the term, children will create an original short film, which will premiered in the final week of term.
Science Club
Mother Nature Science Newton Grove
Looking at the way elements and chemicals work together is something that sparks delight amongst pupils. Led by professors from Mother Nature Science, the children will explore concoctions and formulas, setting the children out on their journey to being future scientists.
Computing & Coding Club

In this computing club, children will explore apps where they have the opportunity to design and create content. They will be introduced to the basics of coding and begin to design the next hit game!

Join this brand new commitee to help our school earn the Green Flag School Accredidation award. This award is entirely pupil lead where children will come up with ideas and initiatives for how our school can be kinder to the environment and will be responsible for implementing and measuring their success. Places on the commitee are very limited!
