2013 Student Visual Arts Exhibition The centerpiece of the Duke Arts Festival is always the exhibition of artwork by Duke students in the Bryan Center, and this year is no different. With a focus on the theme of sustainability, we were uncertain about how this would impact submissions. But again, as with past festivals, the artwork is exceptional, covering a variety of media including painting, photography, graphic design, printing, digital art and film. All dramatically and artistically focus on the theme. Statements from the students are displayed alongside their submissions, and together they drive home a pressing concern for our environment.
