The Denver Leadership Experience Frequently Asked Questions What is the time commitment? Participants spend five consecutive days on campus at the University of Denver and nearby facilities for an intensive, deep-dive into leadership development. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the program all include an experiential element with a graduation ceremony taking place on Friday afternoon. Lunch is provided each day.

What are the admission requirements? This program is designed for experienced professionals who are currently leading a team, enterprise or global initiatives, or major projects in a company or organization. The program requires a 15minute phone assessment that can be scheduled here. Ideal candidates: Are senior leaders Have seven-plus years of direct people-management experience Are leaders working on the enterprise (organization-wide) level Leaders with fewer than seven years of experience are eligible for the Accelerated Leadership Experience.

Who are the program faculty? Ali Boyd and Scott McLagan co-lead DLX. Each bring a wealth of diverse expertise and experience to the program, ensuring a rich and multifaceted approach to leadership development. Ali Boyd is an executive coach, professor, consultant, and sought-after speaker who drives transformative growth in leaders, teams, and systems. She specializes in working with senior leaders to leverage deep inner work for performance and transformational change, partnering with clients such as Google, Amazon, and the University of Michigan.
