EVS Viscometer Bath Embedded Viscometer System The embedded microprocessor controlled viscometer bath from PSL Rheotek uses a PT 100 calibrated by the PSL Calibration Laboratory*. This provides a very stable bath temperature as well as the optimisation of stabilisation times after placing viscometers into the bath.

Software The bath is controlled with a simple 5 button keypad. Options include:    

Desired temperature set-point Reference temperature (offset) Units (ºC, ºF) Optional chiller control set-point

Temperature, offset and stability is displayed on an OLED screen with the option of PC data-logging.

Power Saving The EVS Viscometer power requirement is 24VDC. This low voltage is obtained by using an integrated switching mode power supply. Input voltage is 100 to 240VAC. The low power consumption is environmentally friendly and will reduce energy bills over the lifetime of use. The EVS Viscometer bath can be supplied with an integrated thermo-electric chiller. This is ideal to maintain a set-point close to ambient.
