A Note From the Director
Welcome to Duchesne Academy’s 6th Annual Dance Show, There She Goes.
Thank you so much for supporting our Duchesne Dancers and our Fine Arts Program. We are grateful for you and your patronage.
There She Goes is a story about three friends from a small town during their last summer together before two of them go off to college. As they reminisce on their time together, they spend the summer making and documenting new memories before they part ways.
This show is an opportunity for us to celebrate our wonderful community here at Duchesne and the beautiful friendships all of our students make while here on our campus. These friendships can last a lifetime and it is a gift to watch their friendships blossom each year

Senior Spotlights
Ereeni Bernitsas
Ereeni began dancing at the age of two and started competing at Fierce Factory Dance and Talent in Grade 2. She continued competing with them, joining the All Star team in Grades 8-9. Her freshman and sophomore years, she was on both Fierce Factory’s senior team and Charger Girls. Ereeni served as Junior Lieutenant on Charger Girls her sophomore year, and Captain her junior and senior years. She began teaching dance at Fierce Factory in Grade 9, and continues to teach there, as well as at Duchesne Extended Day. Ereeni will attend UT Arlington, where she will study kinesiology her freshman year, and then transfer to UT Austin her sophomore year through the CAP program. She hopes to further her dance journey at UT Arlington and be part of the UTA Mavericks Dance Team. She is extremely appreciative of all of her coaches, specifically Mrs. Gillett, Mrs. Dara, and Ms. Raguel, for every opportunity given to her and is forever thankful for their support.
Giuliana Gonzalez
Being a part of dance shows has always been one of Giuliana’s favorite experiences as a dancer. She loves being on stage and performing in front of others and will really miss doing it next year! Giuliana is extremely grateful for her teachers and everyone involved in the dance show for making this experience even more valuable to her. Giuliana plans to become a Speech Language Pathologist. Dance will always hold a special place in her life.
Audrey Hinton
Audrey Hinton began her dance training at the age of three at Memorial Dance and continued her dancing at Uptown Dance Center and Academy of City Ballet of Houston. Throughout her four years of high school, she has been a dedicated member of the Charger Girls, serving as lieutenant her sophomore year and captain both her junior and senior years. She is a vital member in the Upper School community as she is currently student body president and assists the Lower School dance classes. This dance show marks her sixth annual show, having begun dancing with Mrs. Gillett in Grade 7. Audrey is excited to attend Auburn University in the Fall, where she plans to major in Public Health on a Pre-Medical track.
Senior Spotlights Domenica
Sepe
Domenica Sepe began her dance show journey freshman year. She started backstage as a stagehand and is now the lead lighting designer on the show for the second year in a row. Dance show continues to be her favorite show to light every year. Domenica is also very involved in the Duchesne community. She is the campus ministry president, mock trial president, and varsity golf member. Next year Domenica plans to major in applied mathematics.
Chloe Schroeder
Chloe has been doing Sound for Dance Show for the past two years and is planning on going to TCU for neuroscience. She would like to thank her parents for always supporting her, Domenica Sepe for convincing her to get involved with Dance Show, and Mrs. Gillett for going above and beyond to choreograph and put together an amazing show!
Nina Strathman
Nina Strathman danced from ages three to five before she turned in her ballet shoes for volleyball. She returned to dance in Grade 7 through the Duchesne Dance Program. Since then, she has taken a variety of dance classes and been a part of recitals both in and out of school. Nina is headed to Auburn University and will major in Architecture. She’s excited for the new adventure and hopes to keep dancing along the way!
