Gracie may be petite, but her personality is big! She’s a confident and independent princess who loves to cuddle when she’s not being “spicy.” When Gracie joins your Royal Family, she will know 5 to 7 commands like “sit,” “let’s ride,” and “no bark,” and she will be crate-trained and potty-trained. She will be well socialized and acclimated to cats and other dogs. She’s the perfect family dog and her transition to your castle will be seamless.

An apprentice to France's famous flying winemaker, Michel Rolland, Aaron Pott developed his unique wine ethos while working in multiple chateaux in Bordeaux. 518. Angels We Have Heard on High - High Elevation Exuberance

The debate over which is better - mountain fruit or valley fruit - will always exist amongst the cult cab lovers and followers of Napa and Sonoma. The idea that mountain fruit is more sturdy because of the thicker skins and drier soils creating a long-lived tannic wine forms the argument for mountain fruit fans. Being above the fog line usually results in less extreme nighttime temperatures which allows for softer acidity in mountain fruit wines. Tannins have to be carefully managed and yields are usually lower resulting in less supply. Basic economics tells us that's why these gorgeous creations are more expensive. Auction Rules 1. Live, Big Board, Silent, and Grab Bag Auctions will be held at The Post Oak Hotel beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

2. Pre-registered guests may check in upon arrival and obtain their bid number and table assignment. They may also check in prior to arrival and receive both their bid number and table assignment.

3. Previously unregistered guests must check in upon arrival to be entered into the auction database and assigned a bidder number.

4. Couples will, in general, be assigned a joint bidder number.

5. A bidder’s assigned number is unique and will serve as identification throughout the auction proceedings.

6. Your bid, oral or written, constitutes a “contract to buy.” Please remember this during bidding, and be sure to use the bidder number assigned to you during check-in.

7. All sales are final. Auction items, except where specified, are not exchangeable, refundable, or transferable. Everything is sold “as is.” Please read the specifications and restrictions carefully. The descriptions are as accurate as possible, and the Extravaganza Committee (“Committee”) and Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart (“Duchesne”) are neither responsible nor liable for any discrepancies that may occur.

8. Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and services must be redeemed within one (1) year of the event.

9. Reservations for the use of homes, boats, tickets, etc., must be mutually arranged with the donor by the successful bidder, unless otherwise specified.

Arrangements should be made as soon as possible after the auction to have the best chance of securing dates and times desired by the buyer. Minor children must have an adult chaperone at all times when staying in vacation homes.

10. The Committee reserves the right to remove an item from the auction at any time.

11. At check-in, each bidder will have the option of having their credit card scanned.

We will accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express at the event.

NOTE (1) No credit card charges will be posted during the event. Therefore, a guest with a pre-scanned credit card who chooses to pay by cash or check can be easily accommodated; (2) All credit card information will be erased from the computers the week after the event.

12. Invoices will be texted to bidders shortly after the close of the event. Items can be picked up after purchase is confirmed.

13. The invoice will contain a fair market value assessment, as well as the price paid. Fair market values are generally assigned by the donor or an Extravaganza volunteer, and as such, cannot be warranted by Duchesne. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to handle all tax deduction issues in the proper manner, consulting a tax advisor, if needed.

14. By his/her purchase, the buyer waives any claims for liabilities against Duchesne or the donor. Neither Duchesne nor the donor is responsible for any personal injury or damage to property that may result from the use of an item or service sold.

15. In the event of a dispute, the Extravaganza Chairs, in conjunction with Duchesne staff, will determine the winning bidder. This decision will be final.

Auction Rules Grab Bags

1. Grab Bags are available for $100 each. You can purchase as many Grab Bags as you would like.

2. There are two categories of Grab Bags: For Adults and For Children and Families.

3. The winning items may be found in your Grab Bag envelope. However, if you have won a larger item, it will be available for pick up at the school.

4. All sales are final. Auction items, except where specified, are not exchangeable, refundable or transferable. Everything is sold “as is.”

5. There are a limited number of Grab Bags.

Auction Rules Silent Auction

1. Silent Auction will open prior to the event on March 2, 2024, and will remain open until 10:30 p.m. that night. All Silent Auction bidding will occur using the BidPal system.

2. To enter a bid, select Items by Category on your BidPal mobile phone/device.

3. Each Silent Auction item contains a maximum price called “Buy It Now.” Buyers who agree to pay that price win the auction immediately.

4. There will be a 10-minute announcement made prior to the closing of Silent Auction. This will occur via text message.

Auction Rules Big Boards

1. The Big Boards will open a week prior to the event and temporarily close at 3:00 p.m. the day of the event. The highest bid at that time will become the opening bid at 6:30 p.m. when the Big Boards reopen for attendees at the event. Big Boards will have a staggered close beginning at 7:45 p.m.

2. Bids are placed when an auction official writes the bidder’s number and a bid amount on the board.

3. Only Duchesne officials may post bids on the board.

Auction Rules Live Auction

1. The Live Auction will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. and will continue without interruption until all items are sold.

2. To enter a bid, the bidder raises his/her Live Auction bid number directing the signal to the Auctioneer or spotters, whose job it is to relay bids to the Auctioneer.

3. In the event of a dispute, the Auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer the item in dispute for sale.
